Although St. Patrick’s Day is only one in March, I would like to dedicate the month of March to ‘feasting’ and quenching your appetites whether in lust or love and I wish you all gold dusted luck for any mistakes that you may trip upon…believe me, we all could use a little luck to get out of a mistake unscathed!
Another little poem that I adore…Oh… the kiss…
To A Kiss
Humid seal of soft affections,
Tend’rest pledge of future bliss,
Dearest tie of young connections,
Love’s first snow-drop, virgin kiss.
Speaking silence, dumb confession,
Passion’s birth, and infants’ play,
Dove-like fondness, chaste concession,
Glowing dawn of brighter day.
Sorrowing joy, adieu’s last action,
Ling’ring lips, — no more to join!
What words can ever speak affection
Thrilling and sincere as thine!
- Robert Burns
